340 deelnemers worden miljonair: ongekend!
Dat is te danken aan het feit dat elk jaar maar liefst 340 deelnemers miljonair worden. De insteek van de Spaanse Kerstloterij is niet om één enkele deelnemer extreem te maken, maar zoveel mogelijk deelnemers miljonair. De winkans op de jackpot is 1 op 100.000. Dat klinkt als een kleine kans, maar is een grote kans als we het vergelijken met andere nationale en internationale loterijen.
In 2017 wordt de Kerstloterij extra interessant: er zit namelijk 70 miljoen euro extra in de prijzenpot. De kans om een prijs te winnen is maar liefst 1 op 6,5. Dat is hoog voor een loterij. Ongeveer 98 procent van de inwoners van Spanje koopt minimaal één lot en waagt zo de kans om een miljoenenprijs te winnen.
De prijzenverdeling ziet er in grote lijnen als volgt uit:
- 170 keer € 4.000.000
- 170 keer € 1.250.000
In totaal winnen 26 miljoen deelnemers een prijs. De trekking vindt plaats op 22 december. Van deze trekking maakt de Spaanse televisie elk jaar weer een waar spektakel. Loten kun je kopen via onder meer The Lotter. Wees er wel snel bij, want hoewel er enorm veel loten zijn, gaan ze als warme broodjes over de toonbank.
Voor € 35 koop je een lot via The Lotter. Bij de aankoop van 4 loten krijg je korting. Deze 4 loten krijg je namelijk voor € 126. Dat is een korting van € 14, oftewel 10 procent.
