Ferdy Roet heeft weer eens bakzeil gehaald bij de rechter. De door de rechter buitenspel gezette voorzitter van de Stichting Loterijverlies had een kort geding aangespannen tegen de Kansspelautoriteit en de Staatsloterij. Ingang was de doorgang van de speciale gratis trekking van de Staatsloterij.
De rechter veegde deze eis echter van tafel. Door de rechter is geoordeeld dat Ferdy Roet geen partij is. Het staat gedupeerden van de Staatsloterij vrij om in te gaan op het aanbod van de loterij. Net zoals dat gedupeerden ook verder mogen procederen. Roet laat zich niet uit het veld slaan en gaat verder met procederen.
Gratis trekking Staatsloterij compensatie gedupeerden
De gratis trekking van de Staatsloterij is een speciale trekking voor gedupeerden. Tussen 2000 en 2007 heeft de Staatsloterij deelnemers voorgelogen over de winkans. Deelnemers werd voorgespiegeld dat ze een veel grotere winkans hadden dan in werkelijkheid het geval was. Dit zorgde ervoor dat een aantal stichtingen gedupeerden verenigden om een schadeclaim in te dienen bij de Staatsloterij. De rechter gaf de stichtingen in ieder geval gelijk voor wat betreft misleiding door de Staatsloterij. De Staatsloterij heeft deelnemers jarenlang misleid door winkansen te overdrijven.
Twee van deze stichtingen zijn de Stichting Staatsloterijschadeclaim en de Stichting Loterijverlies van Ferdy Roet. De Stichting Staatsloterijschadeclaim heeft deze speciale gratis trekking samen met de Staatsloterij uitgedacht. Het idee hier achter is dat gedupeerden nu in ieder geval iets hebben en dat de Staatsloterij op een eenvoudige manier kan compenseren. Het hoeft nu immers niet met elke gedupeerde apart om tafel, maar kan in een keer een grote groep gedupeerden compenseren. Deelnemen aan de gratis trekking betekent afzien van verdere schadeclaims en gerechtelijke procedures.
Dat is tegen het zere been van Ferdy Roet. Roet voert al jaren een verbeten strijd tegen de Staatsloterij. Dat gaat met pieken en dalen. De pieken zijn vooral van Ferdy Roet. Hij leeft er goed van en kocht van de inleg van gedupeerden onder meer een duur huis en een dure sportwagen. Onlangs wees de rechter een andere voorzitter aan voor de Stichting Loterijverlies, nadat Roet er een te grote puinhoop van had gemaakt. Deze ad-interim voorzitter moet de puinhoop van Ferdy Roet opruimen. Opmerkelijk genoeg blijft Roet zich nog volop bemoeien met de Stichting Loterijverlies.
Ook het kort geding om deze gratis trekking te dwarsbomen, is vooral eigen belang voor Roet. Roet ziet zijn Stichting Loterijverlies leeglopen. Mensen waren het vertrouwen in Roet al kwijt en zien in deze gratis trekking een manier om een streep te zetten onder (en door) hun schadeclaim. Voor Roet betekent dat het einde van zijn persoonlijke melkkoe.

De Staatsloterij maakt volop reclame voor deze gratis trekking. Enerzijds is dat om de deelnemers zo goed mogelijk te informeren, anderzijds ook zeker om zoveel mogelijk deelnemers te trekken en zich te profileren. De staatsloterij voelt namelijk de hete adem van buitenlandse loterijen in de nek.
De Staatsloterij heeft 13,5 miljoen euro in de prijzenpot gestopt. Tot en met 20 mei kunnen mensen hun deelname nog kenbaar maken. Voorwaarde is wel dat iemand tussen 2000 en 2007 mee heeft gespeeld met de Staatsloterij. Dan behoor je namelijk tot het niet heel selecte gezelschap van Staatsloterij-gedupeerden. Er zijn 5 miljoen loten en tot nu toe hebben 2 miljoen gedupeerden aangegeven mee te doen aan deze gratis trekking.
De hoofdprijs is 1 miljoen euro netto. In totaal zijn er 5 hoofdprijzen. Verder zijn er 15 prijzen van 250 duizend euro, 125 prijzen van 10 duizend euro, 1.000 prijzen van 1.000 euro en 10 duizend prijzen van 250 euro.
Roet noemt deze gratis trekking een “luizenfooi”. Natuurlijk is Ferdy Roet onbetrouwbaar, maar we kunnen hem hier geen ongelijk in geven. In vergelijking met buitenlandse loterijen als de Powerball is deze prijzenpot natuurlijk een lachertje.
